If you haven't seen the 2 upper floors yet, drop in and check it out. We are in the planning stages of upgrades that will allow all 3 floors to be accessible by all.

Located on the third floor, this room seats 57 theatre style, is perfect for workshops with breakout tables for 35, or for casual unseated networking events. Adjoining the heritage room is a full kitchen, and a smaller meeting area perfect for lunch and learn conversations of 6-10.

10 Carden's Co-working Room

Located on the 2nd floor, the Co-working room is for permanent shared office space. The co-working area offers a new entrepreneurs who are engaged in work that is improving the world - to focus on just that, in a beautiful location. Work alongside others who you may want to collaborate with. Call Katarina to arrange for a tour.

  • FarmStart's "Exploring your New Farm Dream"

    Wednesdays, 6:30pm – 9:30pm, Sept. 29, Oct. 6, Oct. 20, Oct. 27 Farm tour: Saturday, Oct 16 (full day)

    Exploring Your New Farm Dream is a course for people who are thinking about starting a commercial farm business (farming with the intent to make a profit rather than as a hobby or a pastime). You will meet other serious gardeners, livestock enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs who are also asking themselves, “Is starting an agricultural business right for me?”

  • Action on Climate: Flood Relief for Pakistan

    Hosted by Council of Canadians and Transition Guelph


    Join us for Thanksgiving as we take action for reducing climate chaos. Bring your banners and umbrellas with messages attached for a walk-about. Come share a simple meal and some music among friends. We gather to remember the connection between choices we make – our political and lifestyle choices – and disastrous weather in many parts of the world today. Voluntary donations will be gathered for OXFAM to support flood relief in Pakistan. We'll write messages to our conservative M.P.s. to urge them to action! "We are working on climate change. What about you?"

  • Guelph Studio Tour

    October 15-17 Friday: 7-9 pm. Saturday: 10 am - 6 pm. Sunday: 11 am - 5 pm.
    This year, the Guelph Studio Tour celebrates its 25th Anniversary. Rejoining the group is artist and 10 Carden co-founder, Julia Grady. Julia will exhibit new and past work at 10 Carden. Mixed media encaustic, drawing, and a few surprises thrown in. Nearly 40 artists at over 20 locations provide an eclectic mix of artwork to take in. More info at

  • Ready to farm? Want to restructure your farm? Have you got a plan?

    Beginning October 24th - various workshops.
    Everdale's Farmers Growing Farmers (FGF) is a multi-week program that takes you through the step-by-step development of a comprehensive farm plan to help make your business a successful one. FGF offers:

    • one-on-one mentorship with expert farmers
    • access to a network of other farmers who are at the same stage as you are
    • potential funding and support for your farm launch

Established in January 2009, 10 Carden has quickly become a hub for local not-for-profit and social purpose entrepreneurs working to address the social, cultural, environmental and economic challenges we face today. 10 Carden is a shared office space and a great presentation venue. It's a small business incubator serving for-profit AND not-for-profit organizations. It's a "community hub". It's a space we want you to see.

Hot Desks Drop-in or book the day before - wireless, fresh coffee and others working for social change.

  • $2/hr with membership
  • $3/hr non-member rate

Workshop/Presentation Space with flexible table arrangement/seating. 10 Carden is now 3000 sq feet of shared space for social change. There are SIX unique meeting spaces available on an hourly rental basis ranging from $12.50/hour (member) to $40.00/hour (member). Non-member rates available as well. 

  • Meridian Meeting Room - seats 8-10
  • Community Room - seats up to 70 theatre style
  • The Study - seats 6 to 8. Perfect for a quiet private meeting
  • The Heritage Room - seats up to 55 theatre style. The Heritage Room plus the kitchen is perfect for any private function.
  • The Nook - seats 4-8 for a quiet meeting
  • The Gathering Place - seats up to 10 for a lunch and learn style event
