Our Public Workshops with Festival artists include Contemporary African Dance with Gibson Muriva (Saturday, June 4th, 9:30 – 11am) and Gaga and Creative Movement with Dana Katz (Sunday, June 5th 5, 9:30 – 11am). Workshops are held at Temple Studios (42 Quebec St.). Photo by Jamie MacDonald

Youth Dance Day, a program for Guelph and surrounding area youth (ages 14-19) to immerse themselves in the field of contemporary dance for a day. Now in its 2nd year, Youth Dance Day offers a stimulating, inspiring and educational experience for youth through an up-close and interactive experience with contemporary dance. This year’s program includes In the Street performances, dance workshop and artist chat with Gabrielle Martin (Pulse and Puppet), a River Run Centre backstage tour, and a Stage A dress rehearsal viewing. Youth Dance Day takes place Friday, June 3rd, from noon to 5pm. Meet at St. George’s Square and Pick up at the River Run Centre. Photo by Emile Arragon
